Foam Storage Vessel

In September 2009 we were successful in being awarded our second project by Kidde to Fabricate a Skid frame, removable sunshade and stainless steel foam tank and pipework (design code was ASME) this time destined for Petrofac in Syria.

Our scope of work included:

• Fabrication of Pipe Spools. Supply to include flanges.
• All lifting eyes.
• Manufacture of Earth Bosses and Earthing Stud kits
• Supply of all stud bolts (nuts and washers), gaskets, ‘U’ bolt pipe clamps and fasteners to facilitate assembly.
• Assembly of pipe spools, Inductor, Gate valves, check valves, isolation and drain valves and fitting of name plate, equipment and termination Point Tags.
• Installation and supply of cathodic isolation kits fitted between inductor and stainless steel pipe
• Installation of instrumentation (pressure transducers and magnetic level gauges)
• To carry our Positive Material Identification (PMI)
• Painting of frame
• Radiography and NDE
